Levels of Membership
TeleCommUnity offers two levels of membership for local governments
or regional associations of local governments.
A Governing Membership requires a contribution of:
(i) $0.05 per capita population. Each local government Governing
Member must contribute at least $5,000 annually, regardless of
population, up to a maximum of $50,000;
~ or ~
(ii) an annual contribution of $20,000 by an official or formally
organized association of local government jurisdictions.
Governing Members are entitled to the full benefits of membership
listed here.
A Participating Membership requires a contribution of:
(i) $10,000 or more annually for a local government with a population
of more than one million;
(ii) $5,000 or more annually for a local government with a population
of 400,000 to less than one million;
(iii) $2,000 or more annually for a local government with a population
of 100,000 to less than 400,000;
(iv) $1,000 or more annually for a local government with a population
of less than 100,000.

(i) $10,000 or more annually for an association representing an
aggregate population of one million or more.
(ii) $5,000 or more annually for an association representing an
aggregate population of less than one million.
Participating Members receive significant
benefits including periodic issue updates, the Tel-Intelligence
newsletter and media education pieces.
